Week 11: Sway

I just got back from a 5 day trip to Washington State with my girlfriend. Her sister was getting married, so we headed north in the Volvo. It was about 700 miles of driving to get to Kennewick, WA, and there was much beautiful terrain to see. We drove past massive redwood trees and amazingly blue rivers that looked like oceans because of their size.

The song "Sway" is about driving northbound and feeling your surroundings as you pass along. "I can feel the energy of California's trees" every time I take a trip such as this. I really like how the rhythm turned out on it and want to thank my buddy Cuban Brian for sitting in with me on the congas.
